Evans has been at the helm of Indara since November 2021. Indara was first conceived from the merger of Australia Tower Network (ATN) and Axicom. It currently owns over 4,750 macro towers and is owned by Singtel (30%) and AustralianSuper (70%). ATN was the tower carve out of Optus, while Axicom was the former-largest independent towerco in Australia. Indara then acquired the street furniture businesses of HUB and ENE.HUB. The company rebranded to Indara in October 2022.

Evans said: “With the completion of the establishment phase of Indara, I have taken the time to reflect on the leadership of the organisation going forward. I have determined that now is the right time for me to resign and allow the company to pursue growth under new leadership.

“I will be remaining with Indara focused on the business and a successful transition until my departure on 31 December this year,” he continued. “From a customer perspective, nothing changes, the business remains committed to maintaining the strong strategic partnerships we have formed.”
