TowerXchange: How long have you been CEO of your towerco, what are some of your biggest challenges and proudest achievements to date?

I have been CEO of Deutsche Funkturm for nearly 7 years and I am very proud of the company’s evolution into one of Europe’s leading towercos. In February 2023, Digital Bridge and Brookfield joint Deutsche Telekom as shareholders of GD Towers, in which both Deutsche Funkturm and our Austrian counterpart Magenta Telekom Infra are grouped. Deutsche Telekom now owns 49% with DigitalBridge and Brookfield jointly holding the other 51%. GD Towers operates a total portfolio of more than 40,000 antenna sites in Germany and Austria and is well positioned in their markets - constantly growing with five new sites and 20 site extensions per working day, and many ground-based towers
