TowerXchange: How long have you been CEO of your towerco, what are some of your biggest challenges and proudest achievements to date?
Jay Brown, President and CEO, Crown Castle:
I stepped into this role in June 2016, and we’ve been blessed with tremendous growth in our business – both in terms of our assets and our outstanding team – in that time. Since 2016, we’ve made key acquisitions in the fibre business that we are leveraging to support multi-year roll-out of 5G in the U.S. with a much denser network of nodes. In total, we now have more than 40,000 towers, 85,000 route miles of fiber and 120,000 small cells – assets that enable us to provide comprehensive communications
